What is the Fox Valley Area Action council?
We are a group of active small business owners and NFIB members which meet four times a year to hear from lawmakers, politicians, and each other regarding statewide and national issues facing small businesses in the Fox Valley area. In addition, we receive timely updates from Springfield and Washington to give us the opportunity to have our voices heard on behalf of small business.

What is NFIB?
The National Federation of Independent Business is the nation's largest small-business advocacy group representing the consensus views of its 600,000 members in DC and all 50 state capitals.

Great Event for the Fox Valley Area Action Council!

U.S. Congressman Peter Roskam briefed small business owners from the Fox Valley and Lake-Cook Area Action Councils at a special NFIB meeting in Elmhurst on August 29th.  There was a full house and an engaging discussion about a myriad of issues.

The Fox Valley Area Action Council is ready to help your small business be heard by lawmakers in Springfield and Washington, D. C.

We have an active membership of more than forty small business owners througout the Fox Valley area.  Our meetings occur only four times each year to respect the time commitments small business owners already have.  These meetings help NFIB members to know each other in the community and speak with a louder voice when our federal and state lawmakers need to hear us.

If you are already an NFIB member and would have a question about the Fox Valley Area Action Council, please use the Membership link above to reach the Chairman, Keith Wheeler.  To get more information about the purpose and benefits of NFIB membership, please visit the website for the National Federation of Independent Business.
